I am reading Spiritual Warfare by Richard Ing and David and Goliath by Malcolm Gladwell, both excellent books
Currently reading "Kingdom Calling" by Amy Sherman.
The New Digital An by Eric Schmidt (CEO Google) and Jared Cohen (Director of Google Ideas and an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations.) If you won't to know what's coming, this is your book.
Currently reading Western Christians in Global Mission: What's the Role of the North American Church (2012) by Paul Borthwick (of Development Associates International). Definitely a worthwhile read and one that challenges us to re-think how we are doing missions.
Thanks for these postings, Os. It always reminds me to share what I am reading as well. Just finished The Company of the Committed by Elton Trueblood (1961), an excellent piece of work, When Heaven and Nature Sing by Edward Brown (2012) on Christian environmentalism, and How God Makes the World a Better Place by David Wright (2012), a primer of Wesleyan theology of faith, work and economics.
Now reading Behavioral Economics for Dummies by Morris Altman (2012).
Currently reading the Return of the Prodigal by Henri Nouwen. Great insights on what it means to live as a son or daughter of our Heavenly Father.
I am in the middle of How to Win Friends and Influence People.
Just completed Undeniable Destiny by Linda Caster. Linda is wife of Sam Caster, founder of Mannatech, a global nutrition company. This is a great "Joseph" story. Teleseminar of interview with Sam Caster included.
Just finishing reading "Your Church is Too Small" by John Armstrong. A great book challenging the Body of Christ to respond to Jesus prayer of unity in John 17.
